Hi,
I don't play in a band but I can play lead, rhythm guitar, bass and can sing background vocal harmonies.
I am looking into forming a hard-rock/glam metal band à la skid row, dokken, ratt.

Hey!
Saw your post - is getting a bit old now but thought I would check to see if you are still looking for a band?
I'm Andy and I play and sing in what should be a 4-piece but is currently a 3-piece rock band called Band of Mothers (check bomothers on either youtube or the facebook).
Our drummer quit so we need a replacement.
We play straight forward guitar rock covers - Foo Fighters, BRMC, Motorheard, Hives, Black Keys etc and whatever else has drive and energy - we like the Norwegian word "trøkk" which describes what we play. Not quite Motley Crue, but certainly the simple powerful riffs you are after.
Our "aspiration level" is to reherse a couple of times a month, with a couple of gigs a year at Magneten in Oslo. If we can pick up some other gigs then that is great, but we will not be a working band".
Rehersals are at Øvingshotellet in Oslo.
